Modern warfare and Warzone renewal make OP rifles even more powerful

A new one Call of Duty Modern Warfare en Call of Duty: Warzone update has been released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC by Infinity Ward, Raven Software, and Activision. As for updates, the August 11 update is a bit on the smaller side, but it includes a few different fixes and a variety of balance sheet changes. Included are some modifications to two over-powered cannons that are now being run by many players: Brown MK9 and FAL. Although one became weaker, the other apparently improved.

For whatever reason, Infinity Ward has increased the damage of the headshot for the FAL. This subsidy is a reduction of near damage, but it remains to be seen if it will repair the OP rifle, especially if it deals more headshot damage.

Below you can see the full patch notes:

General repairs:

  • Fix for an issue where explosive rounds on the Rytec AMR can still be staged in CDL modes
  • Fix for a bug that players may receive when opening the weapon
  • Fix for an exploit in the Trial Range Trial

Weapon changes:

  • FAL
    • Enlarged headshot damage (2 hits on range with 1 headshot)
    • Reduce near damage (limbs and lower torso always 3 shots)
  • Holger-26
    • Increased damage range
    • Increased ADS speed
  • Bruen MK9
  • M91
    • Increased near damage
    • Increased ADS speed

As you may know, servers are having problems all morning, but according to Infinity Ward this should not be a problem anymore. That said, if it is, try restarting the game, as well as your console or PC. This seems to work for players.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare en Warzone are both available through the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Meanwhile, coming later this year, they will also be available via the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
