Is this Indiana team able to truly shock the college football world by pulling the No. 23 Michigan upset on Saturday? The Huskies are 13th in the AP Top 25 polls after a 2-0 start this weekend. It’s a tremendous achievement for the program, and it’s the highest in the Hoosiers rankings since the 1987 season at the top of the 11 ranks after a 6-1 start.
In fact, the Khuziers have moved up from No. 15 to No. 11 in a week, beating the 20th-ranked Michigan team. In polls we don’t always see Indiana more than Michigan, nor do we always see it. Indiana beat Michigan. Because you know what else was there about the 1987 win over the Wolverines that knocked out the Huskies in the 11th?
That was the last time Indiana beat Michigan.
Wolverine has won 24 straight seats from that game and has dominated the entire history in the series, winning 59 of the first 68 seats. So, while the 2-0 start to the 2020 season and the top 15 rankings are wonderful things for this Indiana program, it will still knock the Michigan monkey off its back. Could this be a Saturday? Storylines
Indiana: As mentioned above, the Huskies have lost 24 straight to the Wolverines, so winning the game doesn’t seem likely. Of course, considering how they played in their season-opener against Penn State, the win wasn’t even there at the time, but Indiana pulled off this discomfort. Now, in 2020, this is the case with hosiery. On the one hand, you have to give them credit, and it’s hard not to feel good for Tom Allen and his program. Indiana football is not accustomed to seeing those numbers next to his name in football, especially so many. On the other hand, you can’t ignore the fact that the Huskies don’t look particularly excellent despite a 2-0 start. In some ways, this game against Michigan will say more about Indiana than its first two wins.
Michigan: These days there is a strong sense of deja vu in Ann Arbor. The optimism quickly disappeared after the Wolverines fell home to Michigan State last week after a season-opening win against Minnesota. Wolverine was favored by more than three touchdowns in the game but could never hold the lead. Now the fuss and fuss over Jim Harbief being in the hot seat has resumed, with many questioning whether Michigan will be able to compete with a team like Ohio State again. I’m not sure the last question right now is in front of Michigan’s mind. Before the Wolverines get worried about any of them, they have beaten Indiana as they have done many times before. If they don’t, Michigan won’t think about it right now.

Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either. I know Michigan has lost a game that everyone expects him to win, but spreading this point is the absolute excess of the loss. In his five seasons at Michigan, Jim Harboh’s teams went all out for a 1-3-1 ATS against Indiana despite winning all five matches. The difference this year is that none of the games had this small spread. The average spread in those five games was 16.2 points. Michigan has won every seat by at least a touchdown. Last year, Wolverine beat the best Indiana team in 25 years. We’ll see the Wolverines bounce back this week against an Indiana team that almost didn’t play as well as its record suggests.
