Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has benefited from not being under the royal family’s control since she and Prince Harry made their departure, according to a body language expert. During a recent video call, Meghan showed a more passionate style of speech than ever before with the “real restrictions” she was in previously.
Prince Harry and Meghan participated in a major video call
The Sussexs recently participated in a video call with youth leaders about equal rights and justice. As President and Vice President of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, Prince Harry and Meghan included their voices in the conversation and the discussion made them share their perspective on these important issues.
“We cannot deny or ignore the fact that we have all been brought up to see the world differently,” Prince Harry said during the meeting. “However, once you start to realize that there is that bias there, then you have to acknowledge it, you have to do the work to be more aware … so that you can help defend something that is so wrong and should not be acceptable in our society today. “
“It is not just in the great moments, it is in the quiet moments where racism and unconscious prejudice lie and prosper,” Meghan said.

Meghan showed how passionate she is about the subject.
Body language expert Judi James analyzed the Sussex gestures during the call and shared her findings with The Sun, believing Prince Harry seemed “uncomfortable” compared to Meghan.
“Does Harry look more and more like a fish out of water in the United States? His body language on this video link seems quite awkward, especially next to his wife, “James shared.
She continued: “Meghan showed glimpses of her ability to speak passionately about her causes and her ability to inspire people when she was in the UK, but in the safety harness of royal restrictions, she is seen relating and empathizing with young people in a way that Harry, with his privileged upbringing, could never. “
The Duchess ‘outshone’ Prince Harry with her speaking skills
The expert also shared how Prince Harry sometimes seemed “distracted” as his wife spoke and noted how Meghan shone during the conversation.
“He is clearly overshadowed by his speaking skills in an inspiring calm but passionate tone, and it would not be a surprise if he were not in awe of his talent for speaking from the heart and conveying messages that could change his life,” James explained. “When Harry launches into his speech, his style is staccato and his gestures look a bit over the top, as if he’s trying to reflect his wife’s passionate delivery style.”
James shared more thoughts on Sussex body language with the Daily Mail, echoing many of his comments, with some additional analysis. He found that Prince Harry’s location during the call made him appear “slightly trapped off to the side, with no room to gesture and, at first, no room to speak.”
She added: “Meghan is fascinating, but Harry repeats his words or adds ‘Yes’ after she makes a point.”
