Both Royal Reporters, Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, claim to have an insight into the inner workings of the Royal Family, and say they witnessed Meghan and Harry’s life in the United Kingdom in a way that some outsiders can.
The 368-page book is said to be an “honest, close and disarming portrait of a confident, influential and forward-thinking couple who are not afraid to break with tradition, determined to create a new path away from the spotlight, and dedicated to it building a humanitarian legacy that will make a profound difference in the world. “
A spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex denied that the couple had anything to do with the biography.
Despite the book raising eyebrows during royal rounds, Mr Fitzwilliams said the book is not a “seismic bridge burning” with the Royal Family.
He went on to say: ‘Finding Freedom was not a seismic bridge burning with the Royal Family, as the Queen and Prince Charles praised.
‘Obviously, the comments about the Cambridges and about the institution have not been popular, so it has simply reinforced their current intent.
“The Queen has called Harry to welcome him back, but her current intention is obviously to forge her own independent careers, so the current situation of royal titles seems like something it needs to continue.”
