Meghan Markle ignores following the advice of Camilla Parker Bowles

Meghan and Prince Harry’s decision to leave the royal family came after they endured overwhelming media scrutiny. Their next chapter covers a quieter life from the royal spotlight, but one source claims that Meghan got some advice from Camilla that might have made a big difference if she listened.

Camilla was certainly no stranger to learning how to adapt to the pressures that accompanied royal life and Meghan could have learned a lot from her. One of Meghan’s friends told Mail on Sunday that Camilla offered the duchess advice before marrying Prince Harry.

Camilla apparently spoke to Meghan during a private lunch and advised her to ‘ride out the storm’.

“Meg was really grateful to Camilla, who was very supportive and invited her for private lunches, especially around the time of her wedding,” the insider shared. “She listened to them and understood that it is really difficult to disconnect the royal family from an otherwise ‘normal’ life.”

Camilla’s experience provided a unique perspective for Meghan, but she “did not listen”, the source explained. “Like Meghan, Camilla had experienced a lot of negative press and hostility from courtiers because of her relationship with Charles when he was still married to Diana,” the insider shared.

She continued, “She was very sensitive to Meghan and gave her support, advised her to ride out the storm and that it would all happen – but in the end Meghan did not listen.”

This morning, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, were baptized in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle during an intimate service rendered by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their firstborn and celebrating this special moment. Their Royal Highnesses feel happy to enjoy this day with Archie’s family and grandparents. Their son, Archie, was baptized with the handmade replica of the royal christening gown worn by royal beekeepers for the past 11 years. The original Royal Christening Robe, made of fine Honiton lace, upholstered in white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and first worn by her eldest daughter. It was subsequently worn for generations of royal christening parties, including The Queen, her children and grandchildren until 2004, when The Queen commissioned this handmade replica, to preserve the fragile historical outfit, and to continue the tradition. “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen this year to make a transition by embarking on a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while fully supporting Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, especially in recent years, that we feel ready to make this adjustment. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honor our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages. This geographical balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition in which he was born, as well as give our family the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity. We look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step with time, as we continue to work with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. Until then, please accept our deepest thanks for your continued support. ”- The Duke and Duchess of Sussex For more information, visit sussexroyal.com (link in bio) Image © PA

According to her, Meghan Markle was felt unprotected by the royal family

Despite this report on Camilla’s guidance, Meghan felt that the royal family did not protect her, Find freedom author Omid Scobie claims.

During the 21st of August HeirPod podcast episode, Scobie was asked if there was a moment where everything went wrong for Prince Harry and Meghan who asked their bombshell announcement to return from royal duties.

“I wouldn’t say there was one specific moment, but what we call in the book is this buildup of frustration after several different moments,” he explained.

Scobie went on to say, “I think that was where it really started to burst during the Duchess of Sussex’s pregnancy, because I think it was a time when the press release, especially in certain sections of ‘ the tabloids, at such a vulnerable moment the woman’s life became extremely negative. “

“I think this was really one time where the couple, and in particular Meghan, felt very unprotected by the institution of the monarchy,” he added.
