One game the video game world has completed fallen in love this week is the 60-player generous party title, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. It was developed by the British developer Mediatonic (Murder by figures), published by Devolver Digital and inspired by hilarious television games such as Takeshi’s castle en Total wipeout.
Currently it is only available on Steam (PC) and PlayStation 4, so what are the chances that it will come to other platforms like the Nintendo Switch? In a FAQ on the Mediatonic website, it all depends on how much demand there is elsewhere.
Are there any plans for a release of Xbox or Switch?
To begin with, Fall Guys will only be available on PS4 and Steam. We would like to take the game to other platforms. Please let us know Twitter and discuss what platforms you want us to release in addition – we’d love to see how much demand there is!
Earlier this week, Mediatonic said that the servers for the game were simply not ready for such mass launch – with the game registering 1.5 million players in just 24 hours. In addition, it is now more popular than Grand Theft Auto 5 on Steam.
