McDonald’s chicken sandwiches engage in a fierce battle for supremacy

After the pilot, the focus turned to the bun. Fifteen to 20 varieties of buns and rolls were considered. More sandwiches were made and tasted. “That was a ton of buns,” Mr. Link said.

Eventually, McDonald’s decided to use a potato roll for one of his sandwiches for the first time. The rolls are toasted with creamy butter, distributed by new warmers set up in rest restaurants.

McDonald’s U.S. “It’s sweet and goat, a nice complement to the chicken’s dexterity,” said Linda Wangosen, head of menu strategy.

Finally, but at least, two pickles came. “I learned a lot about pickles,” Mr. Link said with a laugh.

Instead of the cardboard box boxes that McDonald’s uses for most of its sandwiches, the original crispy chicken sandwich and spicy version will be served in a foil bag.

“Our focus needs to be on serving our customers,” Ms. Said Wangosen. “It just wasn’t the right time to start.”

Mr Link said the sandwich would be worth the wait.

“I am very enthusiastic about chicken. Being from the south, I eat a lot of chicken, ”he said. “I wanted one sandwich. When I ate that sandwich, I wanted to take another bite.”
