Maybe your PC can run Crysis Remastered … but Steam can’t

Unlock September 18th

Twenty-five percent of the Crysis Remastered platforms have not yet been launched. After a disastrous gameplay revealed leak, Crytek rewrote the most performance-intensive platforms in the hope that some changes would prevent it from being shredded to bits. Switch, however, launched, and it’s surprisingly good!

PC, PS4, and Xbox One are still needed in a month. Crytek has announced that Crysis Remastered arrives on September 18th. It will be priced at $ 30.

Aside from the release date, Crytek slipped in some more info about the remaster. Just along the line, Epic secured Crysis Remastered as an Epic Games Store exclusively on PC. Crytek, no stranger to being in heavy financial penalties, probably jumped at the chance Crysis RemasteredThe development to be automatically profitable.

As far as technical possibilities are concerned, Crysis Remastered is said to be “high resolution structures up to 8K, HDR support, temporary anti-aliasing, screen occlusion direction, global illumination, state of the art depth depths, new lighting settings, motion blur, parallax occlusion mapping, reflections and shadows of screen space, new partition effects, and more. “PS4 Pro and Xbox One X players will also get console ray tracing. PC supports Nvidia DLSS technology and ray tracing on RTX cards.

It all sounds cheerful enough that, yes, your PC will probably have trouble running Crysis if you push the settings to just fight for nostalgia.
