Master P have a simple but controversial solution to Nick CannonThe problems … and he firmly believes that he should not have apologized for his anti-Semitism.
The No Limit mogul was in Bev Hills when we asked him about the consequences of Nick adopting the anti-Semitic comments made by Professor Griff and Minister Farrakhan. Master P repeatedly referred to the “hurtful and divisive” words that Nick admits he used, but said, “I hate that Nick Cannon has apologized. He shouldn’t have done that.”
His explanation for that is, basically: Nick wouldn’t have to say sorry if you didn’t have to worry about losing jobs. Look at the video. That is what he says.
Of course, that dangerous theory suggests that anyone who owns their own business or television show should be able to say what they want … without consequences.
Remember, Nick said Griff was “telling the truth” when he said that, in 1989, the Jews were responsible for spreading most of the world’s evil, and even Cannon now acknowledges that the stance was terribly anti-Semitic.
As you know … the reaction against Cannon started when he made anti-Semitic comments on his podcast, he was called, and then dropped by ViacomCBS. About 24 hours later, she changed her tone after talking to Rabbi Abraham Cooper and issued a apparently sincere apology to the Jewish community.
Interestingly, the host of ‘Masked Singer’ says that move resulted in Blacks turn against him … calling him sold for removing his comments and removing that episode from his podcast.
Master P says that if Nick is a good person with good intentions, there is no need to apologize.
Again, that’s not how Nick feels, but this video is a clear illustration of what he said about his own community criticizing him.
