Mary L. Trump has been silent on the passing of her uncle Robert Trump, who unequivocally tried to block the publication of her tell-all book about the president and his famous family earlier this year.
Robert Trump, the youngest of the Trump family, died Saturday night at the age of 71.
Tribute has come in from members of the Trump family, including the president, who visited his brother at a New York City hospital on Saturday and praised him as his “best friend.”
While Trump’s children and confidants shared touching tributes to the soft-spoken brother, Mary remained silent.
However, she was active on Twitter where she shared several photos of her pet cat and bird.

She shared another photo of her cat and bird and said, ‘Sebastian, on the other hand, does not understand why no day is entirely dedicated to him. ‘
Mary knew about Robert’s delicate condition, and revealed in a preliminary interview with Greenpeace that he had been ill several times in the last three months and was hospitalized.
This year, Robert collided with Mary, the 55-year-old daughter of his brother Fred Trump Jr., and in June filed a lawsuit against her and her book on behalf of the Trump family.
Robert filed for an assignment that sparked the explosive book, ‘Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the Most Dangerous Man in the World,’ breaking the terms of a confidentiality agreement they signed nearly two decades ago.
In a statement to The New York Times in June, he accused his uncle of trying to ‘sensationalize and mischaracterize’ her family relationship for her own financial gain.

On Friday, she tweeted that her uncle President Donald Trump is a ‘loser’ after his bid to block the Postal Service from collecting post-in votes
“I and the rest of my entire family are so proud of my beautiful brother, the President, and feel that Mary’s actions are truly a disgrace,” said Robert.
The explosive memo was finally released last month after a judge agreed to lift a temporary restraining order that prevented Mary from publishing or distributing her work.
The judge said the secrecy clauses in the 2001 agreement, “seen in the context of the current circumstances of the Trump family in 2020, would offend public policy as an earlier restriction on protected speech.”
In her book, Mary writes of her legal battle with Donald, Robert and the other Trumps after the death of Fred Trump Sr., after Mary, her brother, and her father were virtually cut out of the will.
Fred Trump Sr. died in 1999, but Mary and her brother Fred Trump III contested the will and accused Donald Trump and his siblings of poisoning Fred Trump Sr. against her.
Robert had stayed close to the 74-year-old president and, as recently as June, filed a case on behalf of the Trump family who unsuccessfully tried to stop the publication of a tell-all book (above)
Donald Trump once described his younger brother as ‘much calmer and calmer than I am’, and ‘the only man in my life I ever called’ honey. ” Robert is pictured right with sister Maryanne and brother Donald in 1990.
Fred Trump and Robert Trump are pictured together in 1985 at the Waldorf Hotel in New York City. Mary described Robert in her book as forcing her and her brother to accept a settlement in the legal battle over the will of her grandfather, Robert’s father, Fred Trump Sr.
In April 2001, Mary Trump and her brother settled the lawsuit. Although the terms are not known, they received a financial payment and had to turn over the 20 percent stake in Trump assets they inherited from their father.
In submitting the lawsuit to Robert Trump, he said the settlement included a confidentiality agreement.
In her book, Mary wrote that her uncle Robert tried to persuade her and her brother to accept the terms of the will, stating how the family paid a lot of money for the care of Fred III’s nine-month-old son William. . The child suffered from seizures and was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Mary and her brother took this as a threat that the family would terminate the insurance if they fought the will.
She also writes in her book that Robert Trump told her and her brother that if they did not arrange the test, the family dispute would bank one of the companies in which she inherited a stake and the two of them give the bill.
