The publisher of a revealing book by the niece of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, may continue to publish the work, a New York court ruled Wednesday, lifting a temporary restraining order that had been requested by the Trump family.

“Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” by Mary L. Trump, is presented as a “bright light on the dark history” of the Trump clan. Robert Trump, the president’s brother, had tried to ban publisher Simon & Schuster from publishing the work, arguing that it was prohibited by a confidentiality agreement.

Earlier in the week, the New York Supreme Court sided with the President’s family, issuing a temporary restraining order. But Justice Alan D. Scheinkman of the Supreme Court’s appeals division ruled that the public has a right to know more about the most powerful man in the world.

In his ruling, The Washington Post reported, Schienkman argued that “any legitimate public interest that may have existed in the family disputes of a real estate developer and his family members can be greatly increased by that real estate developer who is now President of the United States and a current candidate for reelection. “

The restraining order still remains on Mary Trump. “It is very good news that the prior restriction against Simon & Schuster has been vacated, and we look forward to filing our brief in the trial court explaining why the same outcome is required for Ms. Trump, based on the First Amendment and the basic principles of contract law, “said Mary Trump’s attorney, Theodore Boutrous Jr.

The book will be available on July 28.
