Marvel’s Avengers DLC characters leaking?

Marvel’s Avengers will make its way to today’s gen consoles in September this year. Just like in the movies and comic books, The Avengers will come together to save the world from heinous crimes. It will have third-party perspective gameplay and allow you to assemble a team of superheroes of your choice.

The game will include customizable options, allowing you to customize the costume and abilities of the characters. For post-launch support, Crystal Dynamics plans to support the game for years to come. This means that the list of superheroes and their respective missions are updated periodically.

Reddit users discover Marvel’s Avengers DLC characters

A Reddit user has unveiled a list of playable characters in the beta’s recent 1.03 update. This list includes She-Hulk, War Machine, and Kate Bishop. She-Hulk and Kate Bishop already have their opponents in the game and so they are set to make their debut sometime in 2022.

Other characters discovered by another Reddit user ‘RoboMatters’ include Ant-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Falcon, Mar-Vell, Mockingbird, Quake, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Wasp and Winter Soldier.

In addition, SquareEnix has confirmed that Spider-Man and Hawkeye will be available post-release.

If you’re wondering how the devs decide what characters they want to add to the game, here’s what Shaun Escayg, creative director of Avengers, had to say.

‘The process of choosing these characters is’ Can we establish them in this world? Can we make a real argument for Marvel that this character belongs here, this character will advance our story or bring us into new stories? ”

Each character to have his own story

The studio has plans to keep the game relevant for years to come. Hence, the plan is to introduce new characters with frequent updates, keeping the game fresh. These characters will have unique stories and missions. Marvel has no shortage of characters under its belt, so we can expect a roster full of impressive names.

The game will be released on September 4th. In addition, users of the current gen console can upgrade to the next gen version at no extra cost.
