Crystal Dynamics will host a second War Table presentation on July 29 at 10 am PT detailing what players can expect from the beta. While we’ll have to wait a few weeks to get all the details, Creative Director Shaun Escayg teased that the beta will include a little bit of everything: campaign content, co-op missions, hero progression, and exploration in War Zone and Drop Zones. , the latter of which is a new quest type to be detailed in the War Chart.
“We created the beta in such a way that you can experience most of the things that you will do in the full game,” Escayg said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “That means playing a part of the original Avengers single-player story campaign, battling through cooperative missions, experiencing hero and world progression, and exploring War Zones and DROP ZONES, a new type of mission we’ll talk about in the next War Table on July 29. This beta is meaty, but it’s only a small part of the finished game. “
The first War Table demo showed gameplay, new story details, and a bit of how the hero progression works. IGN was practical with the Thor level shown, as well as a Kamala Khan level.
