On Tuesday, Marvel Entertainment announced the launch of Marvel Made, an online platform powered by convention organization company ReedPOP that offers exclusive, “prestigious” Marvel products for a limited time. The site is now live with its first offering, a limited-edition enamel pin set and a collector’s notebook pack featuring art by Eisner Award-winning artist Skottie Young, who Marvel fans know best for their variant covers . “Going back to its roots with Stan Lee, Marvel has always had a direct connection to its fans,” Dan Buckley, president of Marvel Entertainment, said in a press release. “Marvel Made continues that tradition by providing all true believers with truly exciting and unique high-end collectibles that could only be created by the House of Ideas.”
Mike Pasciullo, Vice President of Brand and Communications for Marvel, adds: “Over the years, Marvel fans have become increasingly excited about collecting the exclusive high-end merchandise we offer at conventions, festivals and other special events, and we’ve received more requests than ever from our die-hard fans for more ways to celebrate the Marvel Universe. Marvel Made is the next step in the evolution of our convention merchandise, which will expand that sense of community and deepen our relationship with fans, all while offering the same level of quality and exclusivity that our fans know and love. We look forward to introducing the rest of these items in the coming months. “
