Martha Stewart applauded Chelsea Handler after the comedian recreated her thirst trap, also known as a selfie by the pool, essentially saying, leave it to a professional.
Martha posted a polite but stinging review in the Instagram photo Chelsea posted on Wednesday night … where she recreated Martha’s pool selfie. Chelsea captioned hers, “I’m here to take @ marthastewart48’s swimming class. If I look so good at 78, I’d better have a pool to show me.”
As you probably already know … Martha’s pool selfie delighted fans around the world. Some felt it was a hellish thirst trap, but most roared with approval. At first, Martha seemed impressed … “Dear Chelsea, I am so happy that you liked my post enough to emulate it.”
And then Martha lowers the boom … “I think my pool is a little prettier than yours and my facial expression is a little more relaxed.” As for the “more relaxed comment” … well, Martha, a former model, has some credibility in the posing department.
