Xiaomi Mi 11 with Snapdragon 888 will be launched on December 28

Before the end of 2020, Xiaomi is having one last major product launch to introduce its new flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11. This is expected to be the world’s first Snapdragon 888 device to feature a significant performance upgrade from the Snapdragon 865 processor. + current.

The teaser hinted at more surprises beyond imagination with new technological advancements. It also mentions more attention to detail, suggesting a premium design for the new phone. The launch will take place at 7:30 pm on December 28, 2020.

A couple of weeks ago, images of the Mi 11 appeared online and it appears that Xiaomi is increasing production for its launch in January 2021. It is speculated that it will come with a Samsung ISOCELL 108MP sensor which is said to be the same sensor from camera than the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The Mi 11 Pro is expected to feature a large 5,000 mAh battery that comes in a dual cell design with support for 55 W wired fast charging.

According to a recent leak, the Mi 11’s screen is said to use a 6.67 ″ panel that pushes a Quad HD + resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. Meanwhile, the Pro version is slightly larger with a 6.76 ″ screen. As shown above, the screen appears to be curved around the edges and there are no holes or notches. For selfies, Xiaomi will likely use an under-display camera technology to hide its front camera when not in use.

There are no details on the price so far, but based on the current Mi 10 series, it could be around the RM3,000-RM4,000 range. If you don’t need the latest specs, the Xiaomi Mi 10T series with Snapdragon 865 is quite competitive and starts from RM1,699 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
