Xiaomi has just announced the Mi 11 Ultra, its latest flagship smartphone that features a large 50MP 1 / 1.12 ″ Samsung GN2 ISOCELL image sensor. During the launch event, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun revealed that the Mi 11 Ultra received a new high score of 143 points on DxOMark Mobile.
At 143 points, it is 10 points higher than its predecessor, the Mi 10 Ultra. Compared to its competitors, the new flagship scores 4 points more than the Huawei Mate 40 Pro + and 7 points more than the Mate 40 Pro.
As for the breakdown, the Mi 11 Ultra received a score of 148 points per photo and 100 points per zoom. In the video department, he scored 117 points. Despite awarding the scores for the Mi 11 Ultra, DxOMark says that they are still working on the full review which will be posted on their website very soon.
To recap on camera specs, the Mi 11 Ultra has a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP f / 1.95 main camera, a 48MP f / 2.2 ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 48MP f periscope telephoto camera. / 4.1 offering up to 120X digital zoom. Both wide-angle and telephoto cameras use a 1/2 ″ image sensor.
The new 1 / 1.12 ″ Samsung GN2 ISOCELL image sensor is one of the largest ever installed in a smartphone and Xiaomi claims it is comparable to a Sony RX100 M7 camera that comes with a 1.0 ″ sensor. Another nice addition is a small secondary screen on the back that can be used for selfies and to display notifications.
The Mi 11 Ultra runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with support for 5G bands. In China, the Mi 11 Ultra has the following price:
