As promised, Xiaomi has officially shown the new My 10T series to the world last night consisting of three phones, including the My 10T Pro. Ahead of the global launch, the company has stated that the new series will be available soon in Malaysia.

Naturally, the actual launch date and price for the Mi 10T series will likely be revealed at the Malaysian launch event on October 6. However, Xiaomi today teased the price of the Mi 10T Pro via the Xiaomi Malaysia Facebook page.
Based on the image above, that means the price of the Mi 10T Pro with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage in Malaysia will not exceed 2,000 RM. This is quite interesting since the 8GB / 256GB configuration is the maximum memory and storage option that Xiaomi has in the Mi 10T Pro according to last night’s announcement.
Furthermore, the ad also stated that the phone costs EU 649 (~ RM 3,159). While phones in Europe are priced higher than in Malaysia, a difference of more than RM 1,000 is quite substantial. So let’s see on October 6 if the price below RM 2,000 is really the actual price for the Mi 10T Pro or a marketing promo.
