Wolverhampton Wanderers has banned its players from making their own food purchases in an effort to protect them from contracting the coronavirus.
Much of England is on lockdown as cases rose across the country in December. Liverpool and Everton are the only Premier League clubs that allow fans to enter games as part of the new restrictions.

Newcastle United recently saw a match against Aston Villa postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak at the club and the Wolves have taken their own measures to safeguard their players.
“It’s about protecting ourselves,” Wolves coach Nuno Espirito Santo said.
“From the beginning of the pandemic, our kitchen staff put together a big box of the basics we need and during the height of the pandemic, everyone had it.
“When it started to improve, we said, ‘Okay, now you can go and do your own shopping.’ But now the levels are going up and there is the new variation that worries everyone, we started doing it again, so the players and their families don’t go to supermarkets.
“It’s about protecting ourselves. There are so many people who take care of us.”
Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus and defender Kyle Walker have tested positive for COVID-19, the Premier League club said on Friday.
Two other city staff members also tested positive, and all four are self-isolating.
“Everyone at the club wishes our colleagues a speedy recovery during the Christmas period before they return to work, training and competition,” City said in a statement.
