The weekend drama of Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s attempt to enforce the state of emergency is over, but the saga of his government’s survival continues.

After consulting with the Governors Conference on Sunday, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah said that the government was handling the Covid-19 pandemic properly and does not see the need for a emergency anywhere in the country.
