PETALING JAYA: A clinic at The Waterfront @ ParkCity was closed and disinfected on Tuesday (October 13), after one of its patients tested positive for Covid-19.
Management confirmed that authorities notified Klinik Mediviron that a member of the public who had sought treatment at his clinic on October 8 had tested positive.
“The clinic was immediately closed for disinfection and the treating physician and nurses have been quarantined and tested for Covid-19.
“The clinic, when ready, will resume operations with the assignment of replacement doctors and nurses,” The Waterfront @ParkCity said in a statement.
He added that the thorough disinfection and the second round of sanitizing the affected point of sale, as well as the entire center, was carried out by a professional sanitation company.
The management also said that all necessary measures have been put in place, including the daily disinfection of the common areas of the center.
