THEIR It is well known that Malaysia is not one of those internationally popular countries. But Youtuber Pfundheller is trying to change that with his latest video highlighting Malaysia’s success in flattening the Covid-19 curve.
“Last March, Malaysia had three times more Covid-19 infections than its Southeast Asian neighbors.
“But the virus was not transmitted through entertainment activities or the misbehavior of its citizens, but through a religious event,” he said in his YouTube video.
Pfundheller also noted the rapid response by the Malaysian government in enforcing the Movement Control Order (MCO), which saw a significant drop in Covid-19 infection numbers within a reasonable period of time.
The YouTuber also added that Malaysia not only saw a big drop in the number, but other Southeast Asian countries saw a significant jump in cases after April 14, beating Malaysia.
The video that was uploaded yesterday has gone viral on Malaysian social media.
