Tottenham fans will be delighted to have Son Heung-min back at the club of international duty unscathed after the outbreak of COVID-19 cases within the South Korean team.
It was reported even after Son had flown back to London after Tuesday’s friendly that there had been more positive tests within the South Korean camp, but he is available to face Manchester City later today after José Mourinho revealed that had tested negative twice (Football.London).
Upon returning to the club, the 28-year-old finally had a chance to win the PFA Player of the Month award for October.
Son was as humble as ever, insisting that Harry Kane deserved the award for his efforts last month.
Watch Son said that Spurs TV on winning the award:
“I never expected to win this award because Harry has been fantastic all season and he deserves it.”
