KUALA LUMPUR: Whistleblowers about the Covid-19 vaccination queue jump are encouraged to report directly to the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Khairy Jamaluddin (pix) via email.
Taking the matter seriously, Khairy tweeted that he had informed Health Director General Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah on the matter, adding that he would investigate any information received from the whistleblowers.
“I see the problem of the tail jumpers seriously. I related the matter to @DGHisham (Dr. Noor Hisham) so there are no tail cuts. Complainants can email me anonymously at [email protected] and I will investigate.
“My team has been monitoring whistleblower comments on social media about the jump in the vaccine line. I immediately shared it with Dato ‘Dr Chong DDG @KKMPutrajaya, who is with me in the working group, to investigate. We take information on how to display them very seriously. Vaccine equity is important, ”he said today in his Twitter post.
Khairy, who is also the Coordinating Minister of the National Covid-19 Immunization Program, was citing a tweet from Twitter user Dr. Rafidah Abdullah (@ rafidah72) who claimed he had received messages about the jump of the vaccine line.
So he suggested that he consider having an independent channel for people to make complaints and ensure repercussions for those who skip the line. -Called
