Below are the verified locations that were reportedly impacted today

However, the list does not include locations that have been temporarily closed pending the results of the swab tests of the individuals under investigation.

These places have also been properly disinfected.

Residences

– Fadason Business Center Apartment, Kepong

The apartment’s administration confirmed yesterday in a circular to its residents that one of its residents had tested positive for Covid-19.

Since then, common areas have been completely sanitized, management said.

Apartment Lembah Permai Village, Ampang

Lembah Jaya Assemblywoman Haniza Talha has confirmed that a resident has been confirmed positive for Covid-19.

Sanitation and disinfection work has been carried out in the apartment building.

Business

– IMU Chiropractic Center, Bukit Jalil

One of his employees tested positive for Covid-19 on October 10, management said in a statement.

He said the person has not been at his facility since October 9 and has been admitted to the hospital.

The center has been closed for sanitation and disinfection work and will resume operations once authorized by the Ministry of Health.

– Bank Islam Lahad Datu

One of the employees at the Bank Islam branch in Lahad Datu tested positive for Covid-19.

Bank Islam CEO Mohd Muazzam Mohamed said the employee has been in quarantine since Sept. 28 after traveling to Tawau.

The branch, including the self-service terminals, will close immediately until a date yet to be determined.

Ong Tai Kim Supermarket, Gombak

The supermarket underwent sanitation and disinfection after a customer tested positive for Covid-19 on October 8. It was ordered to close.

Close contacts have been traced and examined.

Political party offices

– Larut Bersatu Office, Perak

Larut Bersatu’s organizational secretary has been confirmed to have Covid-19. The office has undergone sanitation and disinfection.

Meanwhile, Larut’s MP and Bersatu’s Secretary General Hamzah Zainudin are also currently in quarantine.

Schools

– SMK Puchong Permai

The school was informed on October 9 that a student had tested positive for Covid-19. The student last attended school on October 2.

Since then, the Health Ministry has ordered the school to close from October 12-16. The closure involves all students, teachers, and other workers.
