Below are the verified locations that were reportedly affected today.

However, the list does not include locations that have been temporarily closed pending the results of the swab tests of the individuals under investigation.

These places have also been properly disinfected.

Schools

– SMK USJ 12, Subang Jaya

A student was confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19 on October 9.

According to Yang di-Pertua from the school’s Parent Teacher Association, M Singam, the sanitation and cleaning work was done on the same day, and the school is expected to do another round soon.

The school is currently closed until October 25 as it is located in the Petaling district, which is a red zone.

The school management has posted a notice saying that they are closed until October 18 for disinfection and cleaning work.

This was confirmed by the Kuala Lumpur Department of Education when contacted today. However, the department could not confirm whether there was a positive case at the school.

It was previously reported that two cases were detected in Jalan AU 2A, Taman Seri Keramat.

Residences

– Taman Ambar, Alor Setar and Taman Tunku Putra, Kulim

One case has been detected in each of these residential areas, the Kedah State Health Department said in a notice on its Facebook page.
