RESIDENCES
– Nibong Tebal 14, Taman Daya, Johor Bahru, Johor
A resident in Level 2, Block B tested positive for Covid-19 on December 28, the administration said in a notice.
Residents are urged not to allow their children to play on the playground while all visitors are prohibited.
– Taman Aman Putra Apartment, Jinjang, Kuala Lumpur
A resident of the apartment tested positive for Covid-19 and was sent to the hospital for treatment, management corporation Taman Aman Putra said today.
Residents are advised to wear a mask and adhere to the social distancing rule.
BUSINESS
– Johor Jaya Market, Johor Bahru
Johor Bahru City Council ordered the market to close for a week after a street fish vendor tested positive for Covid, Pasir Gudang MCA head Tan Tuan Peng said, cited by Oriental Journal.
The instruction, however, caught other street vendors by surprise and asked the city council to postpone the closing date by one day to allow them to remove perishable goods that were stored in the market to avoid losses.

A staff member here tested positive on December 29, after having contact with an infected person.
The staff member was last at the grocery store on Dec. 27, Jaya Grocer said in a statement.
The supermarket is closed for sanitation, until further notice.
All staff at this branch will undergo the Covid-19 swab test today, he said.
EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
– Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC), Setapak, Kuala Lumpur
A staff member tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec. 25, university management said in a statement.
The administration urged those who visited the Tun Tan Siew Sin Building (TTSS) on December 21 and 22 to undergo a Covid-19 test and self-quarantine.
Sanitation works have been carried out in the building which remains closed until further notice.
GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS
– Perak Office of Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF), Ipoh, Perak
The HRDF at the Perak branch will be closed for two days from today to conduct disinfection exercises after one of its employees tested positive for Covid-19.
All personnel are instructed to perform the Covid-19 test.
