YOUR OPINION | Don’t speak just to make the backdoor prime minister happy.
Ku Li has disrespected Umno discipline and misled members – chief information officer
Coconut: CIO Shahril Hamdan, why didn’t you say all this earlier? Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (Ku Li) had always said that he never recognized the National Alliance (NP) and Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
Anyway, it doesn’t matter. Umno is full of rogues. You mentioned discipline. What discipline does Umno have?
You said that Ku Li is “not ashamed to hold a press conference with the opposition.” What about “Malu Apa, Bossku” who continues to speak to the press after being charged and convicted?
The opposition? Umno, whenever he wants, he speaks out against Muhyiddin. How about kicking a menteri kisser out of your own coalition and then begging him to form the new government?
Now let me see if Umno will take disciplinary action against MP Gua Musang. I bet no action will be taken, only talk.
FairMalaysian: Regardless of whether what Ku Li did was correct or not, Shahril’s behavior smacks of bad apple syndrome.
How do you think former Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak got away allegedly stealing billions, due to this kind of attitude? Neither had the courage to say and do the right thing. It is this kind of debt attitude that masquerades as following the party line.
Isn’t it a shame that despite biting the dust and now wandering the forest in search of a kingdom, this Umno spokesman still hasn’t learned any lessons about what it takes to be a representative of a people?
Poor Malaysians should be much kinder – since MCA and MIC were not so lucky – many Chinese and Indians really know when to set foot and are not carried away by “moral platitudes”.
The simple truth: Your party advisor has more dignity (dignity) than any of you in Umno.
He has a criminal whom he named president of BN backbenchers. Its president is accused of corruption. You shamelessly teamed up with Bersatu, who earlier stole your MPs from you and showed you his middle finger. However, you don’t have the courage to dethrone the prime minister.
Who is more cheeky?
IndigoCat9464: Shahril, when he was young in Umno:
1. Have you not seen that your party is full of kleptocrats and cronies who have supposedly scammed the rakyat money?
2. Have you not seen that your Malaysian community for the past 50 years has not progressed?
3. So it seems that you don’t want to change and progress with the times. Would you rather sit in your comfort zone and ‘make easy money’ by giving government projects?
Look around. Your dinosaur leaders will disappear soon. We need young leaders or caliber to move our country forward.
It cannot continue to hope that non-Malaysian tax money and Petronas “goodwill” payments will keep the country going in the future.
How will it be beneficial for the future of the country? This is the question you must answer. Brother, the world is changing.
Iphonezours: Hello young man, Razaleigh has been in politics long before you were born.
Razaleigh’s position is based on principles. What principles did you preach, or did you have, when Umno stabbed Perak menteri kissing seated in the back (even though he was a traitor himself)?
His party worked with traitors to overthrow a duly elected Pakatan Harapan government, all because Umno is eager for power.
Please, for the love of God, Malaysians don’t need to be reminded of their type of conversation.
YellowMarlin8834: So? Take out Razaleigh if you dare. Don’t just talk to make the back door PM happy.
Even many of their bosses, including party chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, mentioned that Umno members have the right to support whoever they want.
I wonder if genuine Umno members are embarrassed by scum like you or BN General Secretary Annuar Musa who are very confused as to who really is the boss. Or am I confused because Umno can be easily bought.
Don’t forget that what you are actually getting is far less than what former PKR leader Azmin Ali and his gang are getting. Umno is just a lover of Bersatu. They have Azmin looking for the PM position.
And Justice for all: Yes, get out Razaleigh and let’s see what happens to his fragile government majority of just two or three MPs.
See if you are willing to risk me going to Pejuang. He could take one or two deputies from Umno with him in the process. So, like I said, fire him.
Just a Malaysian: It is not necessary to make the Ku Li presser foot a big problem. Umno again shows his lack of magnanimity, is easily confused, easily offended and angered.
In fact, what Ku Li did was somehow destroy the reputation of former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. With opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim and Mahathir looking useless and ineffective, it is good for Umno politics.
GreenViper4010: I honestly “feel sorry” for Shahril and understand her disappointment. But you shouldn’t be surprised.
Ku Li (rhymes with ‘who is he?’) Has been a leader of Umno for decades and should be buried with the remains of Mahathir and his ilk. As the song says “it’s time to say goodbye …”
As for the confusion of the Umno bases? They will always be confused, that is in their DNA. If they weren’t confused, they wouldn’t be Umno. You better stay under the rock where you come from.
May 9: Confuse the grassroots? Are you kidding me? They were confused a long time ago.
They can’t even distinguish thieves and kleptocrats from decent people. They can even vote and support thieves and kleptocrats who stole from the institutions meant to help them.
