Two more suspects arrested for murder in flats Taman Intan PPR

KUALA LUMPUR: Two more suspected men have been arrested in connection with the knife attack that killed a man at the Taman Intan Baiduri People’s Housing Project (PPR) here.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Beh Eng Lai said that two men, ages 21 and 24, were detained separately at Batu’s apartments and caves on Wednesday (November 25).

“Both men have a drug-related criminal record,” he said in a statement on Thursday (November 26).

Another 25-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday. All three have been detained until November 30, “he said.

A 21-year-old man was killed in a knife attack at the Taman Intan Baiduri RPP on Wednesday.

ACP Beh had said that the victim had gone to the apartments with a friend to pitch tents around 8 am on Wednesday.

Initial investigations revealed that the victim then went to Block E of the housing project to buy food.

“Two men on a motorcycle arrived at the scene, one of whom stabbed the victim,” he said.

He said the victim managed to get to Block B before collapsing, where he was found by a member of the public.
