The loan from Wideman Bale sees him return to the club where he spent six seasons before joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.
The 31-year-old, a two-time PFA Player of the Year in his previous spell at Spurs, is delighted to be back after several years under Zinedine Zidane in Madrid.
“It’s good to be back. It’s such a special club to me, it’s where I made a name for myself, an amazing club, incredible fans. It’s amazing to be back,” said the Wales international.
