Tottenham Hotspur gave up points on Sunday after conceding a penalty and an own goal to Leicester City in a 2-0 loss.
Jamie Vardy converted a penalty late in the first half, while an own goal by Toby Alderweireld early in the second gave Leicester the lead.
Leicester received a penalty three minutes into first-half injury time when Serge Aurier stormed James Justin and brought him down. Vardy stepped forward to take the penalty and converted it down the middle.
It looked like Leicester had scored their second goal of the afternoon within two minutes of the second half when James Maddison hit the ball.
However, a VAR review showed that he was slightly offside and the goal was disallowed.
There was not so much uncertainty 12 minutes later when Marc Albrighton crossed a ball into the area that Vardy headed for. His shot shot off Alderweireld’s knee and into the back of his own net.
