COVID-19 | The National Security Council has put three more Sabah districts under stay-at-home orders to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The affected districts that will close at 12:01 am on Wednesday (October 7) are Kota Kinabalu, Penampang and Putatan.
In terms of needs, essential services, including factories and those involved in the supply chain, can continue their operations.
Rules have been enforced from dawn to dusk (6 AM to 6 PM) in restaurants, concession stands, convenience stores, gas stations, and pharmacies.
Customers who dine at home are prohibited.
All markets except daily market (From 6 am to 2 pm), No opening allowed.
In terms of travel, during this period, only Sabahans can enter any part of the state.
A maximum of two people can travel together to purchase supplies. Taxis and electronic call cars can only carry two passengers.
Those who work outside the affected districts cannot leave.

Just a week ago, authorities had enforced similar stay-at-home orders in Tawau, Semporna, Kunak and Lahad Datu districts.
There are 26 districts in Sabah.
