Just hours before Apple introduces its iPhone 12 series, serial leaker Evan Blass just shared high-resolution images for the entire line. This includes the “affordable” iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12, as well as the top-of-the-line iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The iPhone 12 and 12 mini are shown with 5 color options including white, black, blue, green and red. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro range is shown in 4 options, namely Blue, Gold, Graphic and Silver. It looks like blue is the new unique color option similar to last year’s midnight green for the iPhone 11 Pro series.
As expected, the bottom two models come with a dual camera setup that is likely to retain a main shooter and an ultra-wide shooter. Meanwhile, the Pro models retain a triple camera setup, but there is an additional LiDAR sensor that could be used for AR experiences.
While most smartphone makers have moved to punch holes and pop-up cameras, Apple still retains its wide notch, but it appears to be a bit narrower on Pro models. If you look closely at the sides, the The new line has a flat edge just like the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5. This design seems to help reduce its overall width, although the bezels are still quite noticeable. You can see all the available colors through Evan’s page at voice.com.
The iPhone 12 launch event will take place at 1am (MYT) on October 14, 2020. Last year, the iPhone 11 series launched in Malaysia one week after the first wave countries. If Apple continues this trend, Malaysians could buy the iPhone 12 later this month. Maxis recently released a teaser that the iPhone 12 will be available to pre-order very soon and will be offered in 4 models.
