To another question from Sakthyvel as to whether Nora Anne’s fingerprint sample was taken when her body was found on August 13, 2019, the witness said: “Some were taken for comparison, but the fingerprints had been wrinkled.”

During the proceedings, the court was also informed that another eight fingerprints were found on the window frame on the upper floor of the villa, as well as a blood stain in the villa’s bathroom.

Nora Anne, 15, disappeared on August 4 last year, the day after she and her family arrived in Malaysia for a two-week vacation at a resort in Pantai, 60 km south of Kuala Lumpur.

On August 13, 10 days after her disappearance, her body was found near a stream in a ravine, 2.5 km from the complex where she and her family were staying, after a massive search.

Preliminary surgical reports ruled out foul play in the death of the teenager with learning disabilities.
