Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones says he wants to add goals and assists to his game after becoming a regular starter with Jurgen Klopp.

The 19 year old He has made the most of his team’s midfield injury list to start four of the last five games.

In fact, the teenager is stepping up in the face of the absences of several senior stars. Jordan Henderson, Thiago Alcantara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita are out, while Fabinho is back on defense.

As such, their role is likely to be threatened when those players get back in shape. But despite that, Jones has performed admirably while he’s had the chance.

Talking to Liverpool’s official Web site, the midfielder praised the coach Klopp for their faith. He added that he hopes his team career has put a thought or two in his coach’s head.

“Especially on the team I’m playing for, the depth of the team is great,” Jones said.

“It is definitely a positive. I hope I can’t wait to have a few more appearances.

“I have always said that regardless of when they call me, in any type of game and for how long I wear, I will always give 100 percent. I think it was worth it and now I started to get rewarded for starting and stuff.

“It’s even bigger [determination] and I have to pay him even more now. So every time I’m on the court, I give 100 percent. I am working with all my might. Hopefully I can finish with some goals in the season or some assists ”.

Jones’ recent career began with a home win over West Ham. He also played in both games against Atalanta, as well as last Sunday’s 3-0 win over Leicester.
