A WOMAN in Hong Kong gained 18 kg in a short period of time after her Indonesian maid tied her porridge on steroids.
According to Nanyang Siang Pau, the woman identified as Chan hired the housemaid in 2018 to do housework and prepare meals for her children.
Last year, Chan began to notice that something was wrong when he began to suffer water retention and gained 18 kg.
After a medical checkup, her doctor said she had hypercortisolism caused by excessive steroid intake.
She suspected her maid had something to do with it, since she doesn’t take steroids herself.
After checking a CCTV, she discovered that her maid had been secretly adding the drug to her porridge.
The maid then explained that she had done so since she wanted to help Chan with a skin condition.
However, Chan said that neither she nor her family members suffered from skin diseases.
Since then, the maid has been accused in court of trying to use harmful substances.

YP Entertainment released a statement Sunday about the group’s emotional health.
