PUTRAJAYA: The Ministry of National Unity ordered all agencies and machinery dependent on the ministry to postpone programs that involve public meetings after the increase in Covid-19 cases in the country since recent days.

His Minister, Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique (pix), in a statement today, reminded the personnel of all the agencies and machinery of the ministry that they must comply with the health protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP) established by the Ministry of Health (MINSA), the National Security Council ( NSC) and the corresponding state. governments.

“This includes the neighborhood watch of 8,274 Rukun Tetangga (KRT), 5321 voluntary patrol schemes, 1,874 per-customs nurseries and 41 Genius nurseries,” he said.

Halimah said that during the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), the ministry would also monitor religious activities in more than 10,000 non-Muslim places of worship in the green and yellow zones.

“The Ministry advises all personnel, unit machinery and the public to always comply with the SOP.
