SABAH SURVEYS | The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah parties are meeting again this morning on the candidate for the post of Prime Minister of Sabah.

The president of Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star), Jeffrey Kitingan, said this when he met at a hotel in Kota Kinabalu, which Perikatan Nasional was the command center during the recently concluded state elections.

“We are only going to have a meeting at 9:30 am (today),” he told the media.

When asked if BN will attend the meeting, Jeffrey said, “I guess everyone (will attend).

He said that the GRS parties would be discussing the main ministerial candidate at the meeting.

He expected the new prime minister to be sworn in today.

However, at 9.50 a.m. M., Only Jeffrey, the Tambunan State Assemblyman, and Star’s newly elected State Assemblymen were seen in a lobby next to the meeting room.

There are still no signs of BN-Umno or PBS leaders also vying for the post of head of ministers.

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin had proposed that Sabah PN chief Hajiji Noor lead the state if GRS won the state elections.

Shortly after GRS was unofficially proclaimed victory last night, PN leaders met with each other for five hours, reportedly about the new prime ministerial candidate.
