PUTRAJAYA: The government aims to digitize 40 percent of end-to-end (E2E) service delivery by the end of this year compared to 20.2 percent in 2019, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pix) said.

He said that the digitization process will continue to intensify with a focus that will also be given to the development of the digital economy to boost the country’s economic growth after Covid-19.

“In dealing with the economic impact of the global Covid-19 pandemic, the government has taken an inclusive and comprehensive approach in an attempt to ensure the economic survival and well-being of the people.

“This includes efforts to enhance the digitization agenda that is included in one of the strategic axes of Shared Prosperity Vision 2030,” he said in his speech at the launch of the MalaysiaBiz portal broadcast via MAMPU’s Facebook page today.

The MalaysiaBiz portal functions as a single hub to facilitate online business registration and licensing in an efficient manner.

Muhyiddin said that the goal of the digitization process was also reinforced by the creation of the National Council for Digital Economy and Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), which he chairs, to ensure sustainable digital economic development for the benefit of all in line with the 4IR technology. potential in the country. -Called
