The woman’s husband, 63, who is the former CEO of a different company, was also arrested by the anti-theft agency on Monday morning (November 23).

A MACC source said the arrest of the two is to assist in the commission’s investigation into corruption and CBT allegations in the amount of RM140 thousand.

Both are expected to be brought before the Court of Sessions against Corruption in Shah Alam on Wednesday morning (November 25).

The two are expected to face various charges under Section 18 of the MACC Act and Section 409 of the Penal Code.
