Following the network outage this afternoon, Celcom announced that its voice and data services are now up and running. The restoration of their network has started from 6:00 p.m. and they have apologized for the inconvenience caused as the affected customers cannot make calls and connect to the Internet.

As a token of appreciation for the patience of its customers, Celcom will not deduct any data fees from 6:00 PM. M. (October 4) until 12:00 a.m. M. Of course, this won’t make any difference if you already have an unlimited plan.

Celcom CEO Idham Nawawi tweeted an apology tonight for the network problem that started at 3pm. In his tweet, he said that sometimes, despite everything they do to ensure the best for their customers, the worst could still happen. He added that the free use of data is provided as a token of appreciation for his clients’ support and patience.
