KUALA LUMPUR: The headquarters of the Social Security Organization (Socso) and all offices and business premises in Menara Socso, here Jalan Ampang, have been closed from Monday to Friday for decontamination and sanitation work.
Socso CEO Mohammed Azman Aziz Mohammed said that the decontamination and sanitation work was implemented after a staff member at the agency’s headquarters became infected with Covid-19.
“The health and safety of staff and customers is a priority and Socso will continue to work with the authorities to stop the spread of the pandemic and ensure the safety of our customers,” he said today in a statement.
He said the case was handled in accordance with the SOPs established by the Ministry of Health.
