Teens, without masks, attack boss after they were denied free donuts

NEW JERSEY, USA (ANN): A group of teenagers who did not wear masks despite Covid-19 health protocols in New Jersey, USA, apparently became “abusive” after they were refuse to receive free donuts.

The Montclair Police Department (MPD) reported that the girls became “abusive” toward the manager of a local Dunkin ‘Donuts on August 26, according to the Montclair, NJ Patch on September 1.

The “rebel” group, which comprised about six or seven minors, allegedly entered the store and asked for free donuts.

Neither girl was wearing a mask, which is to be worn in indoor public spaces in the state of New Jersey as part of an effort to counter the Covid-19 pandemic.

They were asked to leave the establishment, after which the girls began to become aggressive.

“One woman assaulted the manager, while another tried to get behind the counter. Two clients observed the altercation and tried to intervene, ”a MPD statement reads according to the report.

The girls also reportedly attacked clients before they fled the scene, police added.
