PETALING JAYA: Sunway Pyramid has confirmed that a staff at one of the mall’s outlets has tested positive for Covid-19 today.
The mall’s management said immediate disinfection has been carried out, along with close contact tracking by the Ministry of Health (MoH).
“Sunway Pyramid Mall management learned of a Covid-19 case on September 26 that involved a staff member of a Nike store on the first floor of the mall who had a history of travel.
“We would like to assure all tenants, providers and clients that the case is isolated and that it has been taken care of immediately after identification, along with the affected tenant in full compliance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health,” said Sunway Pyramid in its official Facebook page today. .
The management of the shopping center said the Ministry of Health has contacted close contacts of the infected person and ordered them to undergo health examinations and self-quarantine procedures.
“Sunway Pyramid Mall management is fully committed to protecting the health and safety of our tenants and communities,” he added.
