KLUANG: The country needs political cooperation between PAS, PPBM and Umno to continue until and beyond the next general elections, PAS Vice President Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said today.
He advised the leaders of the three parties to continue supporting the current government of Perikatan Nasional, led by PPBM and to minimize internal politics so that more focus can be given to solving the problems that affect people affected by the Covid pandemic. -19.
“And I am confident that this political cooperation is not only for the parties but for the future of the entire country. Any political decision involves the future of the country, so for the PAS, we feel that the three parties should continue with their cooperation not only until the general elections (GE15) but until later, ”he told reporters here.
He said disputes must be resolved through negotiations.
Tuan Ibrahim said this while commenting on a statement by Umno senior member Annuar Musa that Umno, PAS and PPBM were not enemies but rivals, as all three were Malaysian parties with similar goals and struggles.
He said that his enemies were those with different ideologies. A certain “call” made by someone was intended simply to conceal the person’s real intention to work with “the real enemy,” Annuar said, adding that confusion arose when certain people tried to hide their intention to work with the real enemy.
