NUMEROUS residents in SS2, Petaling Jaya, woke up to another shock this morning after discovering their taps were dry again.
According to Air Selangor’s request, this time it was a burst pipe along Jalan SS 2/72 that caused the disruption.
Many residents, recovering from the latest pollution disruption in Sungai Selangor, took to Air Selangor’s social media platforms to express their frustration.
Many were frustrated that the water had just been restored for a short time before being turned off again in a matter of hours.
Some residents said their water supply was suddenly cut off last night, while others only experienced dry taps this morning.
At 1:13 p.m. on Thursday (October 22), Air Selangor announced on its mobile app that work was underway to repair the burst pipe, which was completed at 2:15 p.m.
Air Selangor said the restoration of the water supply is in progress and expedited for residents affected by the outage and expects the water supply to resume at 7.45pm.
