During telephone conversations, South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and her Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan reached an agreement on simplified entry procedures that will take effect on Friday.
“The agreement with Singapore, the logistics and financial hub, is expected to contribute not only to the economic recovery of the two countries, but also to the stable management of global supply chains under the Covid-19 situation,” said the ministry in a press release. .
Under the entry program, a South Korean businessman with a negative coronavirus test and a Singapore government travel pass can fly to Singapore.

It is South Korea’s fourth express entry program of its kind, after those of China, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia.
