Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits that he may have to change the way his Manchester United team prepares for home games if they want to improve their form at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils they have won 15 of their last 18 away games, including Tuesday’s win over Paris Saint-Germain.
However, their form of home is worrying; United have won just six of their last 12 home games. Indeed, they will return to Old Trafford on Saturday for the first time since their 6-1 win by Tottenham.
United face Chelsea and the loss would be the third in a row at home in the top flight, following a 3-1 loss to Crystal Palace.
Speaking at Friday’s press conference, Solskjaer admitted that he will have to “deal” with the issue himself.
“I don’t agree with (saying we have won) 10 in a row (away from home) because we lost to Chelsea and Sevilla. For me, it’s two away games, but they are in neutral (venues), that’s fine. ” Chief United He said.
“We need to tackle the start-up form, we have to see how we prepare. Maybe it’s something I have to deal with.
“The whole period of lockdown has made us do things differently at home, so we may have to do it differently.”

Solskjaer doesn’t get carried away
Despite United’s poor form at home, their win over PSG was the second in a row, after Newcastle’s defeat.
Solskjaer feels the two victories have put his players on the right track after a rocky start to the season. However, he is not fooling himself before Frank Lampard’s visit. Chelsea on Saturday.
When asked about the importance of continuing the momentum of his team, the coach said: “Of course, it is very important, the players if they lose games are determined to win, to recover.
“I saw that approach in Newcastle and after beating PSG it gives you more faith and confidence. Two performances and very good results, but now is the next game and we are focused on that.
“[Chelsea’s start] he is like many of us, some very good games, some minor performances. Soccer is settling in now and teams are getting into shape.
“We know it is going to be a tough game against Chelsea, maybe we had four or five games against them last year. We are two teams that know each other very well ”.
