PAUL POGBA is warned to follow the line or face the boot.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave the stark reminder to the French star as the war of words with his agent Mino Raiola continues.

The Old Trafford manager, who completed two years in charge yesterday, promised: “I just would not tolerate anyone thinking that they are bigger than Manchester United.

“Nobody is. Absolutely nobody, and Paul knows it. It’s not just for Paul. It’s for all of us.”

His outspoken stance is both an attack on the controversial Raiola and a move to show the World Cup winner who’s in charge.

Raiola enraged Solskjaer the day before United left the Champions League to RB Leipzig earlier this month by stating that it was time for Pogba to leave the club.

He went on to say, “I’ve said that Paul can leave in the summer because it’s hard to make deals in January.”

French midfielder Pogba’s £ 300,000 a week contract expires in just 18 months.

But Solskjaer, whose team host Leeds today, has continued to talk about him, despite his stance on returning to Juventus or Real Madrid.

And the United boss added: “Paul was here as a child in the U-18. We hired him from the start and he comes with Manchester United DNA in him.

“He knows what it’s about. United is about being on a team and Paul has always been an ambitious kid who loves to play football.

“He trains well, he never refuses to train or play, he has a good attitude.

“Of course, Paul wants to do the best he can when he’s on the team, no matter how many minutes he has on the field.”

After last Saturday’s goalless Manchester derby, Pogba took to social media to hit the stick he was getting for Raiola’s comments.

He wrote: “I have always fought and will always fight for Manchester United, my teammates and the fans.

“Everything has been clear between the club and me and that will never change.

‘I WANT PLAYERS WHO CAN MANAGE LIFE’

“When you don’t know what’s going on inside, don’t speak up.”

But having consistently backed his club-record £ 89 million star since he replaced José Mourinho two Christmases ago, Solskjaer is determined that Pogba will stay.

And the Red Devils boss now hopes to get that message across to France’s World Cup winner’s super agent, Raiola.

While preparing for today’s visit to Leeds, Solskjaer added: “I leave the negotiations with the agents to the club.

“In fact, I rarely speak to agents. I talk to the players, and that is the most important thing for me.

“I need to see them face to face and I think the relationship between player and coach is important.

“I want players who can also handle life. You can’t just pass as agents. “
