When ST arrived at the scene at 7:50 a.m. M., About 200 meters from Tanjong Pagar Street was cordoned off and there was a strong smell of burning in the air.
Family members were seen at the scene and are believed to have identified the bodies of the deceased. They were transferred from the scene of the accident to the SGH morgue in two police hearse. The first, with a body, arrived at 11:11 in the morning, while the second arrived at 11:26 in the morning with the four remaining bodies.

He saw that the car had crashed into the first floor of a store, which was empty at the time.
When Song went to the scene of the incident, he saw a man kneeling and crying on the side of the road. He said: “He was crying hysterically and asking the police for help, saying his friends were in the burning car.”
